Organizational Excellence Senior Specialist - Saudi Railway Company (SAR)

Job brief:

The role holder is responsible for conducting periodic assessments of SAR’s organization design and its operating model to ensure the achievement of the organization objectives. The role holder is also responsible for conducting quality checks, implementing quality standards, and ensuring adherence of the departments to the quality standards.

Key job roles and responsibilities:

  • Provides support to the Organization Excellence Manager in developing and implementing the department policies and procedures, driving organizational excellence across the departments to ensure achievement of organization objectives.
  • Analyses the organization design, identifies areas of improvement, and recommends measures for improving the structure, ensuring an agile and robust design.
  • Develops corporate culture through behavioral competencies and values and oversees the implementation through the SAR competency model system (CMS), to ensure staff awareness and embodiment.
  • Recommends training programs to be implemented for staff enhancement.
  • Works with managers to assess the needs for development, at all employee levels, for technical, functional, and managerial development.
  • Identifies potential third-party suppliers and liaises with them when necessary to implement required systems and deliver projects.
  • Matches the organizational quality and excellence standards with the international standards and ensures the adherence of all departments to it.
  • Supervises the regular auditing sessions and evaluates the quality standards for enhancement and improvement.
