UK based Company transported bulk construction materials is looking for HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician to join our team on day shifts Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of HGV DAF tippers.
You must have at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience in a HGV workshop or similar environment, working in either the construction, quarrying industry or for a HGV dealer. Ideally you will have attained appropriate City & Guilds, NVQ or B/TEC or similar diploma/qualifications.
Your duties will include:
· Carry out a wide range of defect repairs from replacing a bulb to replacing brake discs and pads etc.
· Fault diagnostic and rectification using the latest manufacturers computer systems and tooling
· Complete job cards and service sheets accurately and in a timely manner
