Responsibilities:
- Collect daily, weekly or monthly timesheets
- Calculate end of services, bonuses, and allowances
- Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software
- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of a system
- Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
- Report on payroll expenses
- Enter new employees’ data into internal databases
- Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductions
