A German multinational working in the FMCG industry is seeking a supply chain officer to join its team in Jeddah/Saudi Arabia. The candidate will get the chance to work with an accomplished, diverse team, providing a full range of logistical and supply chain support across the country.

Key Responsibilities
Planning/forecasting
- Prepare, update and follow demand planning and sales & operational plans (S&OP)
- Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand as aligned with the sales department
Stocks Management
- Monitoring stock levels
- Analyzing forecast vs. sales accuracy and ensure adequate action is being set to ensure we do not overstock/run out of stocks
- Forecast and place orders with suppliers ensuring sufficient stocks and respecting lead times
- Ensure field returns are being allocated properly in the warehouses
Logistics/Transport
- Track placed orders, shipments and follow the required shipping documents
- Ensure availability of goods at branches and issue the replenishment plans
- Follow and monitor the 3PL and transporters performance and contracts
- Maintain all logistical records
- Manage delivery fleet to ensure highest customer service while utilizing delivery resources efficiently
- Planning delivery timetables
Warehousing
- Schedule and perform annual inventories and conduct random checks on warehouses
- Overseeing the ordering and packaging process to ensure its being fulfilled as per the rules and regulations
- Plan arrival of shipments and dispatching of goods to avoid bottlenecks
HSE/Quality Control
- Ensures compliance of all sites according to the company’s HSE policies
- Fill and ensure timely delivery of HSE reporting
- Conduct audits (both internally and externally – to suppliers/service providers, etc…)
- Conduct HSE training for staff
- Conduct risk assessment if necessary
Background
BSc degree from a reputable university preferably in Industrial Engineering or business administration
